Due to the lack of sufficient donations and the poor market for internet advertising, we have to make a few budget cuts around the network. Because of the large amount of space that Jay uses on his site, Neglected Mario Characters, and because of its popularity, we simply cannot afford to meet its monthly bandwidth needs. As a result, we are sorry to say that we are forced to shut Neglected Mario Characters down. We have already talked to Jay about this, and he understands. We will continue to host SMBHQ at VGF and Jay will be allowed to run this site for as long as we are able. Since we are cutting the biggest load on our server, Neglected Mario Characters, this should cut down costs enough to support VGF and SMBHQ for a long time to come. Jay is looking for an alternate server to host Neglected Mario Characters, but is currently not having very much luck. But as of today, he is no longer allowed to host Neglected Mario Characters on our server.
Jay asks that if you want to read his comix while he is looking for another server, you are welcome to look for them on his mirror site.

Also, we will continue to host the Neglected Character Forum as part of our VGF Forum Community for as long as we are able.

As a final note we have agreed to allow Jay to post his final comic on the site that he has been working on for the last year. We have allowed him to post this one comic on our server because he says that his fans are really looking forward to this comic and he has spent so long working on it. If the bandwidth becomes to much, though, we will remove the comic, so please enjoy it while you can.
